Intelligent Conversation expands senior team with two new hires

Kam Arkinstall and Sarah Tarmaster join the Intelligent Conversation team following a series of account wins and expanded client briefs.

We’re delighted to welcome two new Senior Consultants to the Intelligent Conversation team – Kam Arkinstall and Sarah Tarmaster.

The appointments follow a series of account wins and expanded client briefs for our recently re-branded agency, including: industrial venture English Fine Cottons – which has just announced a £5.8m investment to bring cotton spinning back to Manchester; care tech start-up 3rings and the United Kingdom Homecare Association (UKCHA).

Kam is a PR and social media specialist with over eight years’ experience working with national healthcare, not-for-profit and science clients. The Oxford Physics graduate joins Intelligent Conversation from online STM (Science, Technology and Medicine) publisher BioMed Central where she managed strategic content and multimedia development.

Sarah – who joins the agency from Down at the Social – also brings strong content credentials to her new role, as well as extensive community and stakeholder relations experience. During her 11 years in communications and project management Sarah has worked for a diverse range of organisations including consumer brands, education bodies, local authorities and leading charities such as Groundwork.

Sarah is also a keen blogger in her own right and has been running popular food and drink blog North West Nosh for the past five years.

Managing Director Libby Howard said: “We’ve always strived to hire senior professionals from diverse backgrounds, with skill sets that go beyond ‘traditional PR’. It’s a strategy that has worked well for us; the quality of our team is one of the biggest factors behind our business growth. Sarah and Kam are perfect additions to the Intelligent Conversation team.”
