As is Christmas tradition at IC, we are once again passing on the prosecco and the chocolates to support causes close to our hearts.
The last 18 months have left us all in awe of science and of scientists. Thanks to a client base of innovators and technology leaders we are lucky enough to speak to, work with, and engage engineers and scientists every day.
It’s always fascinating. More often than not, our conversations are about nothing less than changing (or saving) the world.
So this year, we will be sponsoring two young people from low-income backgrounds to turn their passion for STEM into rewarding careers.
Our donation will support In2scienceUK, which seeks to unlock the potential of young people from disadvantaged backgrounds and boost diversity and inclusion in the STEM sector.
Poverty and social background are huge barriers to starting a career within STEM. By giving students from disadvantaged backgrounds high-quality opportunities and support at the start of their career journey, In2scienceUK empowers them to achieve their potential and become the next generation of researchers, innovators and pioneers.
